When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect any personal information beyond what you voluntarily provide.

PDF files you upload remain on your device. We never access or transmit their contents.

2. How We Use Data

  • Your email and password are used solely for authentication.
  • Notes and annotations stay local on your machine.
  • We do not track, profile, or sell your data.
  • We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics.

3. Data Storage

Authentication data (email, hashed password) is stored in a MongoDB Atlas database hosted in the EU region. Your PDF documents and annotations never leave your local device.

4. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Since your PDFs and notes are stored locally, clearing your browser data or using the delete function in the Library will remove them permanently.
